Webinars are a highlight in top-of-funnel lead generation

According to Demand Gen Report and ON24, B2B marketing webinars are one of the most successful tactics for generating top-of-the-funnel leads. That is, leads who are still discovering and learning about your product or service.

To carry out the research, 116 B2B marketing professionals were interviewed, 47% of whom were from the software and technology sector.

The data is from last year, and shows that right after the webinar, the tactics that presented the best results were:

virtual events/virtual experiences, with 35%;
videos, with 27%;
lead nurturing campaigns, with 25%;
case studies and account-based advertising, also at 25%;
direct email, with 21%;
industry events and fairs, 20%.
