Why use the block editor?

Page builders, on the other hand, are not affected by the theme used that much. You can even create a page, change the theme, and get the exact same result.

Page Elements
Another difference between the block editor and page builders is the number and variety of elements available. With Gutenberg you have a fairly limited choice. Depending on the theme used, or by adding plugins, you may have new blocks available, for example to insert contact forms, FAQs or pricing tables.

Page builders, on the other hand, have a much wider choice, including animated and interactive denmark phone number list elements, counters, progress bars, flipboxes and much more.

Now that we are at WordPress version 6.0, Gutenberg features have grown. In fact, it is now possible to create headers and footers, something you can easily do with any page builder.

Even in this case, however, you do not have many customization options and, depending on the theme used, their appearance may be different.

Generally speaking, then, the block editor has fewer features and less customization options than a page builder, and is much more theme-dependent.

So why use it?

From the description I gave you, it would seem that Gutenberg is totally useless and it is better to use a page builder. In reality, this is not the case.
