How to advertise on YouTube
Below are the basic steps for placing ads on YouTube.

Upload videos to your YouTube channel
Create a video campaign in the Google Ads dashboard
Set campaign details
Set up ad groups
Create an ad

1. Upload a video to your YouTube channel
After logging in to YouTube, click "Create" in the upper right corner of the screen.

After uploading the video file, enter the video title (required), description, etc. Copy the video URL here (to be used in the Google Ads management screen).

2. Create a video campaign on the Google Ads dashboard
After logging in to your Google Ads account, click on “+ Create a new campaign.”

3. Set campaign details
On the General Settings screen, first enter the details of your campaign. You don't need to set everything on this screen, but at a minimum, set the following:

Campaign Name
The campaign name should briefly describe the purpose and content of the ad.
